Under the Swachh Bharat Mission Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu Sent team of N.S.S unit to participate willingly in Shramdan at Pacca Danga and Sabzi Mandi area of Jammu Region.

During Shramdan, litter/dumped waste/garbage etc. was removed from Building/drains/pits surrounding areas was cleaned during shramdan about 20-25 Students both boys as well as girls participated in shramdan.

Programme was part of the activity calender 2018 of Mechanical Department issued by Er K.S.Bhatia ( H.O.D ) which was well managed by Er. Ajay Thappa Coordinator of N.S.S unit and was organised by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with NSS unit of Government Polytechnic Jammu.
