Government Polytechnic College Jammu organized educational tour of final year students of Automobile Engineering. Twenty two students and three staff members of Automobile Engineering went to an educational tour which is an essential part of their studies. It provides an opportunity to the final year students to have a look at the production of the vehicles in the industry. They visited Mahindra Automobile and Bajaj Auto at Chakan Pune. In addition they enjoyed ferry ride to the Elephanta caves and visited Gateway of India in Mumbai. The visit at Delhi gives them opportunity to visit historical places. The tour lasted for twelve days wef 19th of March 2018 to 30th of March 2018.

The tour in technical education is a regular feature in the final year. It enhances knowledge and Improves personality of the students. They learnt the capability to manage certain things and to plan and execute them. The exposure to the outside world makes them acquainted with the challenges ahead. They know the procedures to get in the big industrial houses. The nature of job they are going to come across in their future.
