Govt. Polytechnic Jammu Organized Short Term Course
The Computer Engineering Department of Govt. Polytechnic Jammu in collaboration with National Institute of Technical Training Teacher and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh organized one week Integration Communication Technology (ICT) based short term course on Renewable & Clean Energy Technology in the college in which faculty of Computer, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation & Control Engineering participated. The Principal of the College Er. Arun Bangotra, welcomed the participating faculty members and the expert faculty from NITTTR Chandigarh.
Er. Zia-ul-Haq-Kohli, HOD Computer Engineering Department was the local course coordinator. The expert lectures were delivered by Dr. Poonam Syal, HOD Electrical Engg. NITTTR Chandigarh, Dr. D. Tiwari, Dr. Lini Mathew, Dr. AV Ravi Teja IIT Ropar and Dr. Ashok Sharma on key topics like Significance of Renewable and clean Energy Technologies, Solid Waste Material, Green Buildings and its Rating, Rain Water Harvesting & Ground Water Recharge, Wind Power Generation, Electric Vehicle, Water Pollution & Waste Water Management. The major focus of the course was on making innovating ways for Renewable Energy Resources. Others who were present were Er. I.J Singh, Er. Sanjay Gupta Er. Kuldeep Bhatia, Er P K Angral and Er Hameed Malik. The Programme was concluded with feedback session and valediction and the vote of thanks was given by Er. Shoket Ali, Lecturer.
