The Red Ribbon Club of Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk, Jammu in collaboration with J&K State AIDS Control society organized a Poster making competition and Signature Campaign in the institution to commemorate the Worlds AIDS Day. More than 25 students participated in the poster making competition with great zeal and enthusiasm and expressed their thought through posters. Er.Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt. Polytechnic Jammu interacted with the students and educate them regarding how to combat with the disease.

The programme was organized under the supervision of Er. Sanam Gupta (NODAL OFFICER), Er. Shorab Gupta, Sakshi kapahi and Rishabh Sharma, the members of Red Ribbon Club.

In poster making competition Mr. Shibam student of Civil Engineering Deptt stood 1st, Rizwana of Computer Engineering Deptt. stood 2nd and Sahil kumar of Mechanical Engineering Deptt stood 3rd. The competition was judged by Ar. Ritika Wadhera (HOD, Architecture deptt.), Er. Rajesh Gupta (HOD, Automobile Deptt.) and Er. Sanjay Gupta (HOD Electrical Deptt). Others present on the occasion were Er Inderjeet Singh, Workshop Supdt, Er. Kuldeep Bhatia, HOD, Mechanical Engg, Rajesh Khajuria, T.P.O , Er. Pardeep Singh, Staff and students.
