Govt. Polytechnic College Jammu Concludes week long, “Fit India-2021” Campaign Celebrates International YOGA DAY

A seven day virtual “Fit India-2021” campaign on health and wellness concluded by National Service Scheme (NSS) Govt.Polytechnic Jammu, with celebration of “International YOGA DAY”, last event of weeklong league of holistic health development, through Yoga , Meditation , Physical exercise and diet management.
Captain Rajiv” (Holistic health Coach, Formulator and Fermenter) Yogi Anil Thakur(Yoga therapist in ISM AYUSH Kishtwar), Sahil Gupta(Astt.Yoga teacher “Patanjalli Yog Peeth”), Apoorvi Sharma( Fitness Influencer), Dhanya Raj(Certified Yoga instructor from “ISHA FOUNDATION”), Sapna Jamwal (Coach NIS Cricket),Vinay Kumar(Yoga Expert GPJ) are eminent guests of Fit India campaign, who deliver courses on their field of expertise. Er. Ritu Jamwal Principal Govt. Polytechnic College appreciate team NSS, in her valedictory message and also thanks experts of different fields of health and wellness, she further emphasized on holistic health (physical, mental, and social) development of students and faculty. Er. Ajay Thappa programme officer and coordinator (“Fit India-2021” campaign) NSS wing , Govt Polytechnic college Jammu, informed about the objectives of this seven days scheduled Fit India Campaign, also assures much more come in near future. He informed that more then 200 students , faculty members and staff are participants across disciplines and subjects. He elaborated on the role of experts, thanking all dignitaries for their valuable contribution for Honorable Prime Minister launched nation-wide “Fit India Movement” aimed to encourage people to inculcate physical activity and sports in their everyday lives and daily routine. Further he thanks and appreciate efforts / support of team members ,Sh. Dheeraj Angral(Lecturer), Er. Sakashi Kapahi(Lecturer),Er.Saba Sheikh, Er Sajjad Hussain, Er. Akash Dasgotra, Er.
