Department of Computer and IT Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic college Jammu organized a Webinar on "Internet of Things" on 29th June 2021 in Collaboration with CIIIT Jammu.
Nearly 60+ students and faculty of both the Institutes and Government Degree College Baramulla joined the session. Mr. Sheyash Gajlekar and Mr. Akshay Jadhav of Tata Technologies were the guest speakers of the session. During session Mr. Shreyash Gajlekar described the importance of IoT in present day and its extensive use in near future. He also explained the applications of IOT in various fields like agriculture, Medical, Home Appliances etc. Mr. Akshay Jadhav demonstrated how the devices with Internet connectivity can be programmed, monitored and controlled using Thingswork Cloud Platform. The webinar session ended with Mr. Anil kelapure, Sr. Consultant of Tata Technologies expressing his vote of thanks to the speakers and participants for attending the session.
