Govt. Polytechnic college Jammu in Collaboration with CIIIT Jammu organized a Webinar on Integrated Circuit and Internet of Things

Department of Computer and IT Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic college Jammu in Collaboration with CIIIT Jammu have organized a Webinar on "Integrated Circuit and Internet of Things" on 6th of July 2021.

Nearly 40+ students and faculty members joined the session. Mr. Mayur Leve of Tata Technologies was the guest speaker of the session. During session Mr. Mayur Leve described the basics of Integrated Circuit, its Basic Components, its Brief History and its benifits in present day and its extensive use in near future.
He also explained how Integrated Circuit are manufactured using Monolithic and Thick Thin Film techniques.

He also gave a brief introduction about IOT and explained the applications of IOT in various fields like agriculture, Medical, Home Appliances etc.

Also various application based protocols like HTTPS, HTTP,MQTT were explained.

The webinar session ended with Mr. Zia-ul-Haq Kohli, Head of Department Computer Engineering and Information Technology expressing his vote of thanks to the speaker and participants for attending the session.
