Government Polytechnic Jammu Organized Debate Competition on Engineers Day

As a tribute to one of the first and finest engineers of India Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu today celebrated Engineers Day in the college. On this occasion, Inter Department Debate Competition (MANTHAN-2023) was organized on the topic “Social Networking Site- Boon or Bane”. The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Arun Bangotra Principal Govt Polytechnic Jammu who in his inaugural speech highlighted the contributions of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya to the society and appreciated the role of Engineers in Nation Building. He motivated the students to work hard and use their Engineering intelligence, knowledge and skill for the welfare of the nation, society and humanity. He also briefed the students about the pros and cons of Social media. The thirteen debaters from different departments of the government polytechnic Jammu participated in this event. A debate competition was held in between students took participate with full zeal and motivation and put light on the pros and cons of the social media. Sahil Sharma student of 1st semester stood First, Madhav Pandoh student of 3th semester got second position and Kushi Jamwal student of 1st semester got third position.
