Government Polytechnic Jammu organise Expert Lecture on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Department of Computer Engineering, Government Polytechnic Jammu organized an Expert Lecture/workshop on the topic - A deep dive into Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning - Applications, Challenges and Future Trends. The resource person for the event was Dr. Palak Mahajan, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Sciences and Engineering, Central University Jammu. The program was started with the welcome address by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal who in his welcome address highlighted the need of understanding the concepts in AI and Machine Learning.

The resource person, Dr. Palak Mahajan laid emphasis on the concepts used in AI and Machine Learning and discussed various applications and challenges of AI in todays world. She explained about the virtual assistant tools Siri, its working and the different frameworks used in Machine Learning. She also discussed how to visualize data by using Phase I-Learning and Phase-II Prediction. She also enlightened the students with the concept of Deep Learning. The students were given live examples of the concepts and their various queries related to Machine Learning were answered.
