Government Polytechnic Jammu organized Certificate Distribution Function under PM Vishwakarma Scheme

Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu organised Certificate Distribution Function under PM Vishwakarma Scheme in which certificates were distributed to the trainees of Two batches in Tailor (Darzi) and One Batch of Carpenter (Suthar) Trade on the successful completion of the Basic Skilling Training under PM Vishwakarma Scheme. Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu highlighted the basic objectives of the scheme by recognition of artisans through PM Vishwakarma Certificate as well basic training of five to seven days and advanced training of 15 days, stipend, providing modern voucher toolkit of Rs 15000 free of cost to trained Vishwakarma’s besides linkage with credit based soft loans and marketing support for expansion of their business. On the occasion the staff from SBI Bank conducted an awareness session for loan scheme under PM Vishwakarma Scheme and also informed students on how to apply for loan under this scheme. While speaking on the occasion, several trainees expressed their gratitude towards the administration of the college for the successful and smooth conduct of their training. Other presents on the occasion were Sh. Inderjeet Singh Workshop Superintendent, Sh Raj Kumar HOD Mechanical Engineering, Sh Manjeet Singh HOD Electrical Engineering, Sh. Sukhdeep Singh HOD Civil Engineering/ SPoC, Smt. Sakshi Kapahi Lecturer I&C, Sh. Paramjot Singh Demonstrator Civil Engineering, Ms. Radhika from NSDC and Sh. Amit Kapoor Instructor, Sh. Sunil Sharma, Smt. Surekha Rani Smt. Sangojeta Mehra, staff of Government Polytechnic Jammu, and various vishwakarma’s were also present on the occasion.
