Government Polytechnic Jammu celebrated World Environment Day

Government Polytechnic Jammu in collaboration with the NSS unit celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2021 and raised awareness towards positive environmental actions to protect nature and our Mother Earth.

An online interactive session was also organized under the able guidance of Er. Ritu Jamwal, Principal GPJ and the theme of the event was Ecosystem Restoration which means reversing the degradation of our ecosystem using three basic principles Recreate, Reimagine and Restore. Various students participated in the event and shared their views through poem recitation and speech on the theme related topics.

A week long environment awareness program was conducted in which around a total of 70 students participated in various activities like short video making, poster making, slogan writing, painting. All the faculty present in the event lauded the efforts of all the participants.
